To ensure efficient processing, please include when applicable purchase order number, billing & shipping addresses, part number, quantity and description, quotation number, previous order number, contact details of purchaser. When placing an order by telephone, please also follow up with a written confirmation.

CREDIT ACCOUNTS

In order to open an account with Process Parameters Ltd you will need to complete a Credit Application Form. Upon the return and completion of this form, providing it is authorised by Process Parameters Ltd, a sales account will be opened and terms agreed. Orders will be processed on a prepaid or credit card basis whilst a credit account is being established.

OEM & RESELLER ACCOUNTS

Discounts for Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM) are available to all qualified manufacturers. Reseller discounts are also available. Please contact Process Parameters Ltd to discuss eligibility.

QUANTITY DISCOUNTS

Many items have quantity discounts available. For larger quantities and for products which do not have discounts listed, please consult Process Parameters Ltd. Such discounts will apply only to orders involving a single shipment or multiple shipments against a firm delivery schedule.

 QUOTATIONS

The price of the goods listed are shown in the currency detailed on the quotation. The price and delivery quoted are those in effect at the time of publication and are subject to change. Quotations are valid for 30 days unless otherwise stated.

PRICES

 MINIMUM BILLING

Process Parameters Ltd has no minimum billing or minimum order quantity.

VALUE ADDED TAX

VAT will be charged at the prevailing rate, unless VAT exemption applies. Our VAT Registration Number is: GB 825 0400 70.

PAYMENT TERMS

Generally Process Parameters Ltd offers 30 day payment terms to account holders, but this is subject to Process Parameters Ltd approval processes. All other customers operate on a pro forma invoice basis. Overseas customers are required to pay at time of order by bank transfer in British Pounds Sterling.

PAYMENTS AND CHARGES

Process Parameters Ltd accepts payments by bank transfer and cheque in British Pounds Sterling. Payments by bank transfer in Euros can also be made upon request. Any bank charges levied on direct credit transfers from overseas customers are the responsibility of the customer. Credit and debit cards issued by VISA and MasterCard in the UK are accepted however credit cards are subject to a 2.5% surcharge.

Payment of the Price and VAT shall be due within 30 days (or agreed payment terms) of the date of the Seller’s invoice. Process Parameters Ltd reserves the right to charge interest on overdue invoices from the date when payment becomes due calculated on a daily basis until the date of payment at the rate of 5% per annum above the Bank of England base rate from time to time in force.

RETENTION OF TITLE

All goods sold by Process Parameters Ltd remain the property of Process Parameters Ltd until payment is received in full.

SHIPPING

Our standard delivery within the UK is next day before 17:30. Upon request a variety of other options are available. Written notice must be given within three working days of receipt if goods are lost or damaged in transit.

EXPORT COMPLIANCE

Regardless of any disclosure made by the customer to Process Parameters Ltd of the ultimate destination of the goods, the purchaser shall not export those goods either directly or indirectly either in contravention of any law, statute or regulation or without first obtaining all required licenses and permits from all relevant government agencies or departments of the customer’s country and the United States, including the United States Departments of Commerce and Treasury.

CUSTOMER TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Terms and conditions or penalty clauses on the purchaser’s order shall not apply unless explicitly agreed in writing by Process Parameters Ltd.

CANCELLATION

Process Parameters Ltd reserves the right to recover from the purchaser all costs incurred in relation to the order up to the time of cancellation. No order may be cancelled except with our agreement in writing.

 RETURN / REPAIR ENQUIRIES

All repair enquiries (warranty and non-warranty) should be directed to Process Parameters Ltd. When returning the item please ensure you include the following within the package: purchase order number, invoice number, repair instructions and detailed description of fault.

Goods returned following evaluation (sale or return) or wrongly ordered must also be returned in accordance with the above procedure. The product and its original packaging must be undamaged and must include all manuals and accessories. Unless this procedure is followed, full credit will not be given. We reserve the right to levy a restocking charge to cover inspection, test and handling, plus the cost of any repairs or reconfiguration. In respect of goods that have been manufactured, customised or configured to customers’ specific requirements, or those that have been bought in specially, credits will be issued entirely at Process Parameters Ltd discretion.

WARRANTY

All products pass through a quality process. Nevertheless, if failures occur please contact Process Parameters Ltd at once.

Temperature probes manufactured by Process Parameters Ltd are guaranteed for 12 months from the delivery date providing the goods have been correctly installed and are not mechanically damaged. Any items requiring repair under warranty will be carried out free of charge.

The warranty period of all Optris products supplied by Process Parameters Ltd covers 24 months starting from the delivery date. After the warranty has expired Optris guarantees an additional 6 months warranty for all repaired or substituted product components.

Warranty does not apply to damages, which result from misuse or neglect. The warranty also expires if you open the product. Process Parameters Ltd is not liable for consequential damage. If a failure occurs during the warranty period the product will be replaced, calibrated or repaired without further charges. The freight costs will be paid by the sender. Process Parameters Ltd reserves the right to exchange components of the product instead of repairing it. If the failure results from misuse or neglect the user has to pay for the repair. In that case you may ask for a cost estimate beforehand.

The warranty offered by us for all other goods is variable dependent on the product sold, and is available upon request.

DRAWINGS

All drawings issued by Process Parameters Ltd remain the property of Process Parameters Ltd unless otherwise agreed in writing.

DESIGN AND SPECIFICATIONS

Process Parameters Ltd reserves the right to make changes in the design and specifications of any product as engineering advances or necessity requires.  Process Parameters Ltd policy is to make running changes, not model changes, whenever an improvement is possible. This affords our customers the latest in technology and engineering.

DELIVERY OF GOODS

Delivery of goods will be made to the delivery address supplied by the customer. The customer should make all arrangements necessary to take delivery of the goods on the day notified by Process Parameters Ltd for delivery. Process Parameters Ltd undertakes to use its reasonable endeavours to despatch the goods on an agreed delivery date, but does not guarantee to do so.  Process Parameters Ltd shall not be liable to the customer for any loss or damage whether arising directly or indirectly from the late delivery or short delivery of the goods.  If short delivery does take place, the customer undertakes not to reject the goods but to accept the goods delivered as part performance of the order.

 ACCEPTANCE OF GOODS

The customer shall be deemed to have accepted the goods 48 hours after delivery, and shall carry out a thorough inspection of the goods within 48 hours of delivery, and shall give written notification to Process Parameters Ltd within 5 working days of delivery of the goods of any defects which a reasonable examination would have revealed.  Where the customer has accepted, or has been deemed to have accepted the goods, the customer shall not be entitled to reject goods which are not in accordance with our terms and conditions.
