Process Parameters Managing Director, Jonathan Apperley, together with Sales & Marketing Manager, Katie Johnson, were delighted to attend the Optris International Sales Meeting in Berlin last week, along with other Optris distributors from around the world. We gathered for results, product news, hands-on workshops, and applications where particular successes have been made. As well as seeing some of the very impressive Optris calibration and testing facilities, we also learnt about some exciting new features in the next release of the PIConnect software, and the forthcoming launch of a unique Infrared Camera/Pyrometer. Look out for further news over the next few months.
With their innovative approach to product improvement and software development, Optris demonstrated yet again that they are clear market leaders in the field of infrared non-contact temperature measurement.
We are delighted to announce that Zoe Hyman has joined the Process Parameters Customer Services team. With several years of previous reception, administrative and despatch experience, Zoe is looking forward to dealing with your enquiries, and shipping your orders.
Process Parameters is benefiting from some Kobold training on Flow, Level and Pressure products in Germany this week. Call 01628 778688 to find out more about the Kobold range of Instrumentation now available from Process Parameters.
Introducing our new Optris PI 05M shortest wavelength camera with an enhanced capability of measuring shorter wavelength of 0.5μm at a spectral range of 500-540nm; making it ideal for temperature measurements of molten metals and metallic surfaces ranging from 900°C-2000°C. As well as that, its high frame rate of 1KHz, decreased measurement errors as well as high optical resolution makes it highly suitable for almost every application and/or industry.

Would you like to know more about Infrared Technology?
Following on from the success of our previous Workshops, we are holding our next Infrared Workshop on Tuesday 28 March from 1pm to 5pm at STEAM – Museum of the Great Western Railway, Swindon. Customers will gain an insight into the theory and workings of non-contact infrared temperature measurement and how it is used. Please register using the online form or call in on 01628 778688.
Thomas Ullrich, Marketing and Sales Director of Optris, will cover the physics behind infrared, the types of sensors and what parameters need to be considered. Jonathan Apperley, Managing Director of Process Parameters, will look at the many applications of infrared sensors and thermal imaging cameras. A customer case study will also be included. The theory covered during the presentations will be backed up with a number of live experiments during the afternoon.
Please do come and join us. If you wish to bring a colleague, we respectfully ask that only two representatives per organisation attend, and that you each register. Attendance is free. Spaces are limited so book soon! If it’s not possible to join us this time round, we will be running another Workshop in the autumn.
