Miniature Thermocouple Plug & Socket Connector Rated to 220ºC
The miniature thermocouple plug features a thermoplastic body that can withstand temperatures up to 220ºC. It is available for various thermocouple types, including K, T, J, N, R/S, E, B, and Cu. The body is colour coded and clearly indicates the thermocouple type.
Wiring is made easy through the use of a lipped washer. The plug accepts both stranded and solid wires with a diameter of up to 0.8mm (0.5mm²).
Manufactured in compliance with standard EN 50212, the plug utilizes high purity thermocouple alloys for both the male pin and female socket constructions. The bevel tipped pins facilitate easy insertion, while the polarised flat pins ensure a secure connection.
What Colour Thermocouple Connector Should I Use?
All miniature thermocouple connectors come colour coded for easy identification. Please see IEC colour coding below:
Type K = Green
Type T = Brown
Type J = Black
Type N = Pink
Type R/S = Orange
Type E = Purple
Copper = White

What is a Miniature Thermocouple Connector?
A miniature thermocouple connector is a compact-sized connector specifically designed for thermocouple temperature sensors and cables. It offers a smaller form factor compared to standard connectors, allowing for space-saving installations. Despite its smaller size, it provides reliable electrical connections and compatibility with various thermocouple types.
What is a Flat Pin?
A flat pin refers to a type of electrical connector pin that has a flat, rectangular shape. These pins are commonly used in various electronic devices and connectors for specific applications and configurations.
