The dedicated product package is engineered for reliable 24/7 outdoor condition monitoring and fire detection in harsh environments. With an IP66 environmental rating and integrated air purge system, it operates in temperatures ranging from -40°C to 50°C.
The fire detection camera package contains a high-resolution 640 x 480 px IR camera paired with a 720p HD video camera to provide combined thermal imaging and visual monitoring. For easy system integration, the USB server (PoE) enables streaming both IR and video feeds into your video management platform.

Specifications
Outdoor Protective Housing
The outdoor protective housing for our condition monitoring package has an IP66 environmental rating, allowing it to withstand harsh conditions. Operating temperatures range from -40°C to 50°C thanks to an integrated PTC heater that activates below 15°C and a fan for temperature distribution. The 24V DC power supply powers the 70W system at 3A normal draw (6A peak). An air purge collar provides additional protection.
IR Camera PI 640i
Within the rugged aluminium housing, the package contains a PI 640i infrared camera for thermal imaging. This camera offers 640 x 480 pixel resolution, a 32Hz frame rate, and a thermal sensitivity of 40 mK. Various lens options provide a 15° to 90° horizontal field of view. The PI 640i runs off USB or PoE via the included server.
Visual Camera
Also enclosed is a 720p visible light camera with 1280 x 720 resolution at a frame rate of 30Hz. The 1/4″ lens size enables up to 65° diagonal field of view. Like the IR camera, the visual camera is powered by the USB server via USB or PoE.
Together, the high-performance IR imaging and visual monitoring cameras enclosed in the protective housing allow continuous operation in harsh environments for critical asset protection and process oversight.
