Optris CTlaser 3M Infrared Temperature Sensor
The Optris CTlaser 3M infrared thermometer is an excellent choice for measuring low metal temperatures and composite materials.
With an incredibly short 1 ms response time, the temperature sensor efficiently monitors fast processes and offers precise readings on small measuring fields down to 0.7 mm. The thermometer provides various selectable outputs and digital interfaces for flexible data evaluation.
The IR sensor delivers accurate temperature measurements for metals, secondary metal processing, and ceramics. The double laser aiming ensures precise spot location at any distance, while the optical resolution of up to 100:1 with selectable focus adds to its versatility.
The temperature range spans from 50°C to 1800°C, and it can be used in up to 85°C ambient temperature without requiring cooling. With a measuring wavelength of 2.3 µm, the thermometer minimises temperature read errors effectively.
The Optris CTlaser 3M dual laser sensor offers a greater degree of flexibility in available options. The electronics are housed in a separate remote enclosure with a selection of output and digital interface options. The electronic box also includes its own digital LCD display showing temperature analysis and alarm conditions. All configuration options are set via the front panel removing the need to use a PC to configure the pyrometer.
