Optris Thin Film Temperature Sensor
The Optris CT P7 infrared sensor is specifically designed to measure the temperature of thin plastic films, including polyurethane, polyether sulfone, polyethene terephthalate, Teflon, and cellulose triacetate. The IR thermometer has an extensive temperature range of 32 to 1310°F and can operate in temperatures up to 185°F without requiring additional cooling.
To ensure stable measurements in applications with significant and rapid ambient temperature changes, the non-contact temperature sensor incorporates the D06ACCTMHS massive housing.
The infrared thermal sensor offers selectable analogue outputs and multiple digital interfaces, providing high flexibility. Field selectable analogue output options include 0/4-20mA, 0-5V, 0-10V, type K or J thermocouples, and alarms. Additionally, the Optris CT P7 includes a programmable functional input for external emissivity adjustment, ambient temperature compensation, and hold function reset.
Features such as peak hold, valley hold, average, and extended hold functions with threshold and hysteresis further enhance its capabilities. Optional plug-in interfaces include USB, RS485, RS232, 2 optically isolated relay outputs, CAN-Bus, Profibus DP, and Ethernet.
