Optris CTvideo 1M 2M Infrared Video Pyrometer

The CTlaser Video Pyrometer has been developed for use in applications where laser aiming is not suitable, perhaps because the laser spots become invisible due to high levels of visible light due to very high temperature metals or similar. But rather than using a simple through the lens viewing port, we have incorporated a through the lens video camera which allows the sensor to be used in environments where space is at a premium. The innovation also embraces modern tablet technology enabling the user to view and aim the sensor on a suitably configured tablet PC. The sensor still also possesses the original dual laser aiming system so you get the best of both worlds!

The CTvideo 1M and 2M models are ideal sensors for the temperature measurement of metals and ceramic materials at high temperatures where extremely precise aiming is required. A selection of optics allows measuring spot sizes to be as small as 0.5mm with the CF2 selection or alternatively the SF optics with an optical resolution of up to 300:1 give small spot sizes even at large distances. The sensors have a wide measuring range of +250 to +2200°C. The two part sensor design gives greater flexibility than the CSvideo with a choice of output types and a range of interface cards such as Ethernet, Modbus, RS485 or relay alarms. It is also easy to connect our innovative USB interface which allows simple configuration and on screen measurement with the included Compact Connect Windows software.
