Fixed Infrared Pyrometer for Spot Sizes as Small as 0.04in
Both the Optris CTlaser LT and LTF models offer a robust and premium-quality stainless steel measuring head with an innovative double laser sighting for an exact measuring field marking in every distance.
The Optris CTlaser dual laser sensors offer a greater degree of flexibility in available options. The electronics are housed in a remote enclosure with a selection of output and digital interface options.
The electronic box also includes its own digital LCD display showing temperature and alarm conditions. All configuration options are set via the front panel removing the need to use a PC to configure the pyrometer.
Shorter wavelength versions are also available specifically designed for use with metals, glass and plastic films. All Optris CTlaser pyrometers come with a choice of optics to best suit your requirements.
The Optris CTlaser LT is a general purpose high performance IR thermometer with programmable electronics and double laser aiming for accurate measurements. Selectable optics allow you to choose the most appropriate spot size for your application with a smallest spot of 0.9 mm possible.
The infrared thermometer is usable up to 85 °C ambient temperature without cooling and automatic laser switch off at 50 °C, has selectable analogue outputs of 0/4 – 20 mA, 0 – 5/ 10 V, and thermocouple type K or J.
Very fast response time for LTF model of just 9ms. Both sensors have a useful measurement range of -50 to +975°C. It is also easy to connect our innovative USB interface which allows simple configuration and on screen measurement with the included licence-free software.

Optris CTlaser LT / LTF Additional Information & Software
Optris CTlaser LT and LTF industrial infrared temperature sensor can be used with an optional USB interface and license-free Compact Connect software to configure the sensor by PC and record temperature measurements instead of traditional analogue or thermocouple outputs. The infrared temperature sensor and pyrometers from Optris can now also be easily operated from a smartphone using the IRmobile App for Android.
Calibration and a range of accessories for your temperature sensor are also available, such as a cooling jacket or interchangeable lenses.
Areas of Application
The two-part infrared thermometer Optris CTlaser LT has been designed for universal temperature measuring employments of up to 975°C. Research and development facilities relying on valid measuring data as well as machine and system producers favour the use of this device.
The high-performance laser of the pyrometer is perfectly suited for temperature measurement of non-metallic surfaces. Among others, this includes materials like plastics, varnishes, wood, or paper. The IR thermometer is employed for e.g. temperature control during the welding of plastic components as well as in testing stations in the automobile industry.
The CTlaser LTF, recognising temperature changes within only 9 ms, has been designed for especially quick measurements. This ensures thorough temperature surveillance of fast processes.
