Optris OPTCSTCLT15 Compact Industrial Infrared Temperature Sensor for OEM Applications
The inexpensive IR pyrometer is perfectly suited for OEM solutions. The Optris CS TC LT15 low cost temperature sensor has a high-speed measurement, wide temperature measuring range, adjustable emissivity and robust design.
The robust stainless steel housing is just 12mm diameter x 87mm long and is supplied with a length of cable. The IR temperature sensor output is selectable, either a scalable 0-10V or a type K thermocouple output.
Although low in cost, the Optris CS infrared temperature detector has a wide infrared temperature sensor range of -40°C to +1030°C and a fast response time of just 25 milliseconds.
Optical resolution is a handy 15:1 so you can easily aim the sensor at objects in the knowledge the spot size is not too large. Also included is adjustable emissivity, a feature not often found on sensors at this price level and fundamental to taking accurate measurements.

Areas of Application for the Industrial IR Temperature Sensor
The industrial pyrometer Optris CS LT can be used in many areas of application. It can be used for temperature control in plastics production, like thermoforming foil.
The compact pyrometer is also used for preventive electrical maintenance since in most cases devices heat up before an error occurs. By using an infrared temperature sensor, potential outages can be detected and fixed.
Optris CS LT 15 Additional Information & Software
The Optris CS TC LT15 industrial infrared temperature sensor can be used with an optional USB interface and license-free Compact Connect software to configure the sensor by PC and record temperature measurements instead of traditional analogue or thermocouple outputs. The infrared temperature sensor and pyrometers from Optris can now also be easily operated from a smartphone using the IRmobile App for Android.
Calibration and a wide range of accessories are also available to purchase for the IR temperature sensor.
