Short Wavelength Optris PI 05M Thermal Imaging Camera

The Optris PI 05M shortest wavelength camera is an evolution of our short wavelength PI 1M camera with a shorter wavelength sensitivity of 500nm. An advantage of this spectral range is the low dependency on changing emissivity. The PI 05M camera also blocks all radiation above 540nm, so it can be used successfully with all laser processing applications.

PI 05M is ideal for temperature measurements of molten metals and metallic surfaces ranging from 900°C-2000°C without sub-ranges. A high frame rate of 1KHz, decreased measurement errors as well as high optical resolution makes PI 05M highly suitable for many applications within the metals and ceramics industries.

The camera’s high-performance sensor electronics enable a short reaction time of just 1ms for displaying temperature measurements from every pixel.

A new leasing scheme is now available for the full range of Optris thermal imaging cameras.  To avoid an upfront capital outlay just spread the cost with monthly or quarterly payments over two or three years.

As with all the Optris PI cameras, the PI 05M comes with our PI Connect software package giving you quick and easy access to all the features of your camera, as well as an SDK option.
