Compact Spot Finder IR Camera Xi 80
A full 80 x 80 pixels thermal image eliminates the hunt for the hot spot and tedious positioning required with single spot temperature sensors. The integrated spot finder function will identify the hottest (or coldest) spot in the image and automatically communicate these measurements without an external PC.
The small-sized rugged camera with motorised focus has a superb distance-to-spot-size ratio up to 190:1 with sighting capabilities. The Optris Xi 80 covers the temperature range of -20 °C to 900 °C and records at a rate of 50 frames per second.
The choice of optics offers fields of view from 12° x 12° up to 80° x 80° lens so you are sure to find an optic that meets your needs and all lenses are the same price. The lens also has a handy motorised focus which is easily controlled through the software.
Connection to your PC is extremely easy via either USB or Ethernet. USB mode provides both power and data transfer from the camera in one cable but is limited to a maximum of 20 metres. Ethernet allows longer cable extensions and networking of multiple cameras to provide easy access where necessary.
As standard, the cheap thermal camera is fitted with our leading process interface which provides inputs and outputs to allow easy process integration. The supplied process interface cable allows you to use one analogue output (0/4-20mA), one analogue input and one digital input. A total of nine analogue outputs can be added via the optional external industrial process interface.
The IR camera comes with an extensive ready-to-use package for an attractive price, including versatile image processing software and connection cables.
Optris Xi 80 Additional Information & Software
This combined IR sensor and cheap thermal camera is so compact it can fit into the palm of your hand and comes with a mounting nut and bracket. The IR camera is also supplied with the free Optris PIX Connect software offers both on and offline data analysis for the Optris Xi80. It allows automatic and remote control of the thermal camera, with the ability to display multiple camera images in different windows.
A video recording and snapshot function allows complete analysis and documentation of video sequences with detailed frames for your application. The PIX Connect software features many different language options including a translation tool and can display temperatures in °C or °F. It’s compatible with Windows Vista, 7, 8, and 10.
The IR sensors and thermal imaging cameras from Optris can now also be operated easily using a smartphone or tablet using the IRmobile App for Android in the Google Play Store.
