Areas of Application
The portable thermometer gun Optris P20 allows reliable measurement of metallic surfaces of up to 1,800°C (1M), ensuring even more precision due to their selectable emissivity. This makes the IR temperature sensor ideal for the metal industry, especially for sporadic measurements.
The handheld laser thermometer is often employed for heated re-forming processes, including cutting, bending, and milling of e.g. steel slabs, ensuring maintenance of required temperature ranges.
What is a Handheld Pyrometer?
A handheld pyrometer is a portable temperature measuring device that can be held and operated with one hand. It is used to measure temperature without the need for direct contact with the object. The pyrometer uses infrared technology to detect and convert the thermal radiation emitted by the object into a temperature reading. It is commonly used in various industries for quick and non-contact temperature measurements in a convenient and portable manner.
