Optris MSPro Handheld Temperature Sensor
With a wide temperature range of -32 to 760°C, laser aiming and optical resolutions of up to 40:1 the Optris MSpro allows technicians to carry out accurate non-contact surface measurements.
The thermometer is ideal for use in electrical and mechanical maintenance, HVAC checks, automotive testing and many other applications. The MS thermometers are compact in size and lightweight making them suitable for storing in the toolbox so that it is always available for use.
The Optris MS thermometers enable you to measure objects as small as 13 mm. Just aim at the object, press the trigger and the infrared thermometers will show the temperature in an instant. Functions like MAX and MIN temperature results are shown in the display right away.
The Optris MS sensor includes visual and audible alarms with high and low alarm functions. It has an emissivity of 0.1 to 1.1, which can be adjusted even after a measurement has been made.
The Optris MS Pro includes all the same features as the other IR sensors in the MS series with the addition of a type k thermocouple and data logging capability for up to 20 values.

The Optris MSpro can now be operated via the new IRmobile App (Android). The app allows you to monitor and analyse infrared temperature measurements on a connected smartphone or tablet.
The MSpro is also supplied with the new free Optris PIX Connect software, which has the same features as the former PI Connect, along with some new which make integration with your system extremely simple. The software is license-free and included in every Optris sensor shipment.
The Optris MSpro also includes Data Logger and Optris Connect Report Software support data storage, data processing and reporting on PC.
Temperature sensor calibration and a range of accessories are also available, such as mounting jackets or interchangeable lenses.
Areas of Application
The IR sensor is especially popular in air-conditioning industries, e.g. for the surveillance of heating, venting, and air conditioning systems.
In mechanical maintenance, e.g. of engines, drivetrains, valves, kilns and steam distribution systems, the laser thermometer easily and reliably detects any weak spots. The MSpro is also ideal for preventive electrical maintenance, moreover, fuses, contacts, or switchboards.
The thermometer is also popular in car service stations for diagnoses of automobiles, where it can locate problems with ignition systems, air conditioning or cooling systems and help solve them immediately.
