Hand Held Thermometer for Industrial Temperature Measurement
The portable IR thermometer Optris P20 LT offers a broad temperature range from 0 °C up to 1,300 °C, making it optimally suited for temperature measurement for industrial use.
The thermometer gun also has an excellent optical resolution of 120:1 giving you very small measuring spot sizes even at large distances. The IR sensor delivers highly precise measurement results for objects of up to 100 mm in a distance of 12 m.
The portable thermometer Optris P20 LT is equipped with a USB interface and internal data storage of up to 2000 measured values. The included evaluation and reporting software Optris Connect additionally offers an oscilloscope function for 20 measurements per second. A double laser visor and a sighting scope allow for targeting of the measuring object at every distance.
The Optris P20 are among the highest-performance handheld infrared thermometers available. For higher temperature ranges and models for metals please see the P20 05M.
Additional Information & Software
The temperature software Optris PIX Connect software is supplied with every infrared shipment. The licence-free software analyses temperatures in real time, along with the ability to document and store your measurements.
To use the analysis software, just connect your handheld infrared thermometer through the USB to your computer and access your data logger as well as real-time measurements.
Optris infrared cameras can now be operated via the new IRmobile App which allows you to monitor and analyse infrared temperature measurements on a smartphone or tablet.

Areas of Application for the Infrared Thermometer Gun Optris P20 LT
The portable thermometer Optris P20 LT is ideal for portable temperature measurement on non-metallic surfaces. It is specifically suited for temperature measurements requiring only sporadic and punctual execution.
Being a highly specialised industrial thermometer, the handheld gun measures temperatures of up to 1,300°C, occurring e.g. in refractory linings of melting troughs. The P20 LT allows for temperature control in the mentioned spots and in many other places.
What is a Handheld Thermometer?
A handheld thermometer is a small device used to measure temperature. It can be held in your hand and is portable, making it easy to use. The infrared thermometer gun usually has a digital display that shows the temperature reading.
To measure temperature, you place the thermometer probe on or near the object or person you want to measure. It quickly detects and displays the temperature, helping you monitor changes in temperature accurately and conveniently.
